This coming Monday night, June 8th, Lefty Williams has invited Donna Hopkins and me to co-host the weekly Jam with him. I am totally excited and can't wait. Vaylor will be there as well.

Hello all!!!

You may be checking in to see what's up with Bonobos. Recently, we have added a fourth member. Todd Smallie is now hanging from the Bonobo tree on "third" bass. Although Todd will not be available for every show, we are excited he has decided to join us. You CAN see Todd performing with us at the Second Annual Hoopee Jam coming up in May. You can also purchase tickets for that festival by e-mailing me. franknjam@gmail.com

Also, Bonobos is pleased to announce our first performance at Matilda's Under the Stars,...in our hometown of Alpharetta , (well, Pete and mine). JUNE 25TH!! $10.00 cover. Bring your own coolers.

We are truly excited about Wanee and are preparing to bring you the love. We have a great campsite for the late-night and Ant Diaz (Legendary JC's/Burnin Smyrnans) has already started lining up the special guests for us. HA!!

Wanee lineup announced

The lineup for this year's Wanee festival was announced today, and wow are we honored to be playing alongside such fantastic musicians!

While we don't have a schedule yet, I fully expect that we'll have our usuall Saturday morning slot on the Mushroom stage.

Bonobos Convergence added to Wanee / Hoopie

Hello all!!! This just in. . . Bonobos Convergence will be performing for our FIFTH time at the Wanee Music festival in April. We love playing Wanee every year, it's a true homecoming.

We are pleased also to announce the return of the Original Late Night Dance Party @ SOMS w/ Bonobos Convergence (as featured on JamCam 14) - Late night in the campground at Wanee.

ALSO, this just in Bonobos Convergence is slated to play at the 2nd Annual Hoopie Jam in Swaynesville, GA . The Hoopie Jam is brought to you by Music Matters Entertainment. Believe it or not, everyone, this Friday, October 23 marks the first time since Wanee that Bonobos Convergence has appeared in person*. We're all very excited that this end to our summer hiatus will happen at the Jam for Duane in Gadsden, Alabama. Not only is it a great venue (the 2nd Street Music Hall) and a great cause, but, believe it or not, this will be the very first time that we'll be sharing a stage with Devon Allman's Honeytribe, despite the fact that Vaylor and Devon have been playing the same festivals and events together since 1999's GABBA fest.

We sure do hope to see you all there.

* Actually, Pete and Vaylor played together a couple of weeks ago at Maddy's Rib Shack in Stone Mountain with the Blues Barons, but that really doesn't count, I guess.

Bebo Bonobo (bippy boo BAM!)

It seemed like a natural fit - Bonobos Convergence and Bebo. I know the Bebo audience in the US isn't that strong, but worldwide Bebo has a bunch of subscribers. So, there is now a Bonobos Convergence band page on Bebo.

Really, it's just a lot of fun to say: "Bebo Bonobo"
