I finally have a moment to give a proper review. The show started with some technical difficulties as we tried to set up a new recording set-up and had some troubles. The corner of Bigg Daddy's is unique and a little small for the sheer power and force brought on by a Bonobos Convergence. Regardless, the fans came out and the music started. 

Set One: Climb to Safety, Namaste', Where, Spinning Daisies, Flag for Utopia and Whimsicle Fantasy.

A fun set of music that really had them dancing. New fans and new faces for Bigg Daddy's. Spinning Daisies was probably the best it has sounded. Vaylor's solo in Flag had the place screaming for more. From the drum chair, it's fun to crawl up out of the bottom of a really, really deep hole. The band jumps in and climbs from the bottom, but just when you think you are close to the energy and excitment that awaits you...you're still climbing. I love it. After that, Whimsicle...nothing to say. Spot on.

Set Two: Zombie Jamboree, Chasin' the Sun, OR->Jabberwocky->OR->Wonder->Bakin'->Scatterbrained->Bakin->Wonder, Netsirk, What and a M.A.S.H. closer.

Chasin' the Sun was top notch. I really think we have found our space in that song. The Super Segue party speaks for itself. I just remember thinking...what else you got?? I would swear there was another song, or at least a tease in there somewhere else....but this is how we remember it after the show. What -  a smokin' rendition with both Vaylor and Pete bringing HUGE solos. MASH closer was just what the night needed. A little laid back groove to send the people home. Happy and satisfied.
